I have been watching Shine A Light and The Rolling Stones just rock and if I were in a band like that I would want Martin Scorsese to direct a documentary about my band. It makes a lot of sense that he directed this film, considering Rolling Stones songs are in all of his movies almost. Anyhow, I felt totally inspired by them, considering they’ve been around, preforming for almost fifty years and they still rock the stage. Mick Jagger is still hot, I have fallen for him again ( I used to have a huge crush on him and David Bowie when I was little) I mean there he is shaking it and grinding on Christina Aguilara like he’s twenty years old. It was like he was thinking, I could take you back stage and give you the time of your life and it seems like he could. I mean the guy was with women like Carly Simon, Janice Dickinson and Mackenzie Phillips, why wouldn’t he think he could have any woman he wants?
Back to my point, I felt like my problems seemed pretty small, like if they can keep going- all the relationships with others and each other, the kids and everything else and after half a century they still sell out stadiums, I think I can get my goals done and have a full life as well, right?
To this day, they are one of my favorite bands.
